Desks
A weighty solid hardwood desk, designed around the way you actually work and built to outlast the work.
A solid hardwood desk is the piece in a study that everything else defers to. It holds up to being written on, leaned on, and moved between houses, and it is still the desk you want at sixty.
We design to the way you work: the depth for two monitors or for paper, a drawer bank where your hand falls, a wire route that never shows, and a top edge comfortable against a forearm for eight hours.
What the consultation decides
- Top size, cut for your room and your monitors
- Drawers, file bank, or an open pedestal
- Cable routing kept out of sight
- Solid hardwood or a live-edge slab
- Keyboard height, measured to your chair
Every piece is quoted on its own once the size, the species, and the base are settled.

How this one gets built
- 1
Consultation
Before we do anything we want to understand you and your family's needs for whatever piece you have in mind. You may know exactly what you want right down to exact dimensions and style. Or you may just want something beautiful that fits your space. We can work with both.
- 2
Design
This is where the fun begins. During this phase we will take the info from our consult and create a render or sketch of your piece of furniture. This is also when you pick out your wood species or slab, epoxy colors, legs, and the rest.
- 3
Build
At this point, with approved drawings, we execute. A lot of care and craftsmanship goes into every single piece that leaves our shop. You are paying for gorgeous furniture that will outlast all of us. We take that seriously.

Deliver
The most exciting moment in the process is when your new piece of furniture is out of our shop and sitting in your space for the first time. Most of our pieces leave Florida. Wherever the house is, it is crated in the shop and delivered white glove, and set in place.

Commission a desk.
A rough idea is enough to begin. You do not need dimensions, a drawing, or a species in mind. The consultation exists to settle all three, and nothing is quoted until you have approved a drawing.
